(from broadwayworld.com Stage Tube)

Daniel Reichard, Broadway actor and concert singer, is releasing his debut Christmas EP album, entitled “Daniel Reichard–Under the Mistletoe.”

“My holiday show is an important tradition in my life and career. This year, I wanted to give people all over the country a chance to enjoy my approach to classic Christmas songs in their homes, cars, and headphones. This mini-album presents an extremely eclectic collection of songs, and I am very proud of the fresh spin we have put on these iconic tunes.”

“Under the Mistletoe” was produced by Daniel Reichard and Jesse Vargas, who also served as musical director and orchestrator. Songs include “Winter Wonderland,” “Put a Little Love In Your Heart,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “Young At Heart.”

The album can be purchased on CD Baby (click here) and will be released on iTunes on Monday December 14th.

Daniel’s show last night was phenomenal! As always, he looked so handsome and his red shoes topped off the gorgeous suit jacket. I floated home in my car playing his new (long overdue!!) CD. It is magnificently stellar! My favorite Daniel Christmas song is “The Bells of St. Paul’s”. His voice fills all the empty places in my heart that can sometimes rear their ugly heads during the holidays. I cannot wait to see him again next week. I love you, Daniel!

  2. Yes!! Saw this a few days ago, by pure accident, searching for something else. Wondered if it was true. Someone, anyone could’ve pinched me with excitement! Also was curious when it would hit the “mainstream”. Thanks for sharing! Will be attending his show next weekend. Can’t wait!
