I have to admit that when I read this I laughed out loud. This has got to be one of my favorite statements about The Midtown Men…ever! Kudos to Kris Sabel for telling it like it is!

“The Midtown Men” (March 21) — Don’t let this title fool you, these are four of the original stars of Jersey Boys singing all those great songs of the 60s that we know and love. I saw this in NYC a couple of years ago and knew it would be a hit for our audiences. For those who were disappointed when Frankie Valli had to cancel a number of years ago, here’s your chance to see the guys who made his music relevant again.

The next episode of “On Stage Across America” will feature an on the road look at the sensational group The Midtown Men, an exclusive with “Glee”‘s Matthew Morrison, a behind-the-scenes chat with the newly-minted 2013 Tony Award winners, and more!
On the first Saturday of each month, “On Stage Across America” — a new monthly series uniting Playbill Magazine and Time Warner Cable news channel NY1 — will bring interviews with Broadway stars, writers, producers and directors, as well as the latest backstage theatre scoop, to Time Warner subscribers across the U.S. Each show will also include a list of theatre events relevant to your local market.
